The other evening I was searching for luxury property and I came across Unique Home Stays. As I browsed the website the stunning photos leaped off the page, the properties oozed luxury and elegance and I fell in love.
Who are Unique Home Stays? “We don’t class ourselves as holiday home providers, but private home custodians. Key holders to homes with heart”. -Sarah Stanley, Director
Let me share with you The Parsonage
From first arrival at The Parsonage, the interiors and location will inspire and delight. This luxury country house in the Cotwolds boasts stunning views of the Malvern Hills and surrounding countryside for miles around, whilst striking gardens and intricate topiary animals pepper the sweeping drive on the approach to this exclusive country home.
Handsome and elegant, this Grade-II listed building close to Ombersley affords guests the chance to experience luxurious relaxation in abundance. The impressive reception rooms, large entrance hall and cantilevered staircase hints at pomp and grandeur, yet the ambiance remains inviting with a peaceful welcoming feel. This property is also a spectacular and unique location for a wedding ceremony to remember- just imagine the photographs!
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
The spacious twin room and three large double bedrooms (two of which are en-suite) reside upon the first floor of the property, whilst the attic room and master bedroom with en-suite are both on the top floor. All bedrooms are well-appointed with a selection of faux fur throws, elegant furnishings and the finest of linens to ensure a restful night’s sleep. There is a shared bathroom with a stand-alone bath and a unique cowhide rug providing added interest for the eye.
The Parsonage stands surrounded by twelve acres of magical gardens complete with mystical topiary, sweeping lawns, colour-filled borders, fruitful orchards, ponds and beautiful parkland with arboretum. The wide paved terrace to the rear of the property is simply perfect for al fresco dining or informal BBQs as the sun sets on the day’s adventures. Look out for the tall fountain spurting out of a cider press stone – an impressive spectacle!
Take a long soak in one of the deep tubs and let your troubles melt away. While away an afternoon with your nose in a book on the galleried landing or in the quiet study; both are great spaces to escape the hubbub of the main house and steal yourself a few quiet moments. The top meadow area in the gardens makes a wonderful picnic spot and has fabulous panoramic views of the Abberley Hills.
There is ample parking for several cars. The property is fully-equipped and has a washing machine and tumble dryer for guests’ convenience.
